Clinging to the hillsides bordering the lazy Semois, this village of a hundred inhabitants fascinates with its heavy schist houses with fortress walls.
Two typical drinking troughs guard the ends of the village.
It is one of the few villages in the southern Ardennes to have retained the typical character of the old villages of yesteryear.
A few steps away is the famous bridge of claies, the last representative of its kind in the valley.
